As individuals we can grow in our spiritual disciplines of Bible study, fellowship and prayer.  We also believe giving our financial gifts, or a tithe, to God is worship as well.  Proverbs 3:9 says: "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops;"  Likewise, 2 Corinthians 9:7 tells us "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."  While we don't "pass the plate" we do believe it is the privilege and responsibility and of members and regular attendees to give.
