The Ridge isn't just for adults.  God loves our children more than we could ever imagine, so we want to reflect that love in how we do kids ministry.  We want your child's experience to be fun and educational!  We use children's curriculum to provide learning experiences that are reinforced through videos, songs, games and other activities.

 

Just like you, we want your child to be safe, so we have a security check-in process that requires your child to be checked in and all of our volunteers have passed a security background check.  

 

Nursery (newborn up to 3 yrs) Here infants and toddlers are introduced to God's love by volunteers who love, hold, feed and play with them.  And with all that, there are still moments to begin teaching your little ones about God through songs and Bible stories.  

PRESCHOOL (3 yrs - preschool) This is where begin to introduce children to the one true God and His wonderful promises of Scripture with The Beginners Gospel Story Curriculum for Toddlers and Preschoolers.

 

K- FIRST (Kindergarten & 1st Grade) Here we help kids transition from basic story telling of the Bible to the fundamental truths of Gods word shows us.

 

BLAST (2nd thru 4th Grade) BLAST stands for Believe, Learn, and Seek Truth. We have found that at this age these students are hungry for the truth that God's word provides. This is where we begin to dig into these truths and explore what it means to truly follow Jesus.

 

ROUTE 56 (5th & 6th Grade) Here we help preteens build confidence in their faith, understand what they believe, and navigate the shift toward adolescence through a direct and engaging classroom setting.

 

For our Sunday morning lessons in Kindergarten thru 6th grade we use Answers In Genesis, ABC Bible Curriculum. The ABC stands for:

• A — Apologetics: Students are trained to defend their Christian faith and answer skeptical cultural and scientific questions.

• B — Biblical Authority: The Bible is taught as the literal, chronological "history book of the universe" from Genesis to Revelation rather than just a collection of separate stories.

• C — Christ-Centered: Lessons emphasize Jesus Christ and His redemptive plan using a framework known as the "7 Cs of History" (Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, Consummation).

 

Our lessons take students on an exciting chronological journey through the Bible with a focus on apologetics and life application! All ages are equipped to defend their faith, becoming conformed to the image of Christ, as they learn to apply God’s Word in their everyday lives.

Sunday morning classes are provided for infants through 6th grade during our 9:15am Sunday service.

 

We also have nursery (newborn through 3 years old) only, during the 11am service.

KIDSCLUB  KidsClub helps children build a solid faith foundation and provides them with an opportunity to form healthy Christian friendships to last a lifetime, learn how to apply biblical principles to everyday situations, memorize Scripture they have studied and develop life skills in a safe and fun environment.

KidsClub, is for 1st thru 6th Grades. We meet during the regular Brookville school year, Wednesday evening from 6:30-8PM.
